Senior Engineering Manager - Detection & Response

This role is based in Sydney, Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Set and deliver the strategy for the DFIR team within Detection & Response.

• Lead security engineers, ensuring clarity of direction and high performance.

• Direct the evolution of Canva’s Security Operations and incident response capabilities.

• Partner with stakeholders during high-severity incidents.

What We’re Looking For:

• Significant experience leading Detection & Response in high-scale cloud environments.

• Proven experience developing individual contributors.

• Strong executive communication skills.
