Senior Backend Engineer, User Platform - Java (Remote across ANZ)

This role is remote across ANZ, based in Sydney, Australia.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate within a backend-focused engineering team to extend and scale the User Product.
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance systems for user authentication and management.
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in designing, building, and operating high-performance, large-scale Java backend systems.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and effective communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with authentication and authorization systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and DynamoDB.
