Senior Backend Engineer - Java - Product Platform (Remote across ANZ)

This role is remote across Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve core backend frameworks, shared services, and developer APIs.
• Design and deliver scalable systems that are easy to maintain and extend.
• Collaborate with product teams to enhance feature delivery.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of simplicity and reliability.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in scalable backend systems.
• Proficiency in Java or other JVM-based languages.
• Strong understanding of API design and modular architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
