Senior Backend Engineer - Java - Product Platform

This role is based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia, with a hybrid work model allowing for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve core backend frameworks, shared services, and developer APIs.
• Design and deliver scalable systems that are easy to use and maintain.
• Collaborate with product teams to enhance feature delivery.
• Mentor engineers and advocate for engineering standards.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in building scalable backend systems.
• Proficiency in Java or other JVM-based languages.
• Strong understanding of API design and modular architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
