Senior Backend Engineer - Feature Control, Remote ANZ

This role is based in Sydney, Australia with remote work options available.

What you'll do:

• Build and evolve backend systems for feature flagging and progressive delivery.
• Design safe rollout patterns and observability integrations.
• Collaborate with platform and product teams.
• Maintain and improve performance, reliability, and scalability of the flag infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture planning.
• Mentor and share knowledge with team members.

You're probably a match if you are:

• An experienced backend engineer with a background in building platforms or safety-critical systems.
• Skilled in designing and scaling APIs and distributed systems.
• Comfortable managing infrastructure using container orchestration platforms.
• Excited about solving complex technical challenges.
