Security Engineering Manager - Detection & Response (ANZ remote)

This role is based in Sydney, Australia with hybrid work options.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team dedicated to building, scaling, and enhancing systems for incident response to security threats.
• Act as a technical leader, guiding project direction and execution.
• Coach and mentor team members to support their growth.
• Ensure top-tier detection, logging, and automation systems in a cloud-native environment.
• Collaborate with the Detection & Response team and wider security group.

Requirements:

• Strong engineering background with experience in detection and response.
• Hands-on experience in detection engineering, logging pipelines, and security automation.
• Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Beneficial Experience:

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience supporting incident response efforts.
