Head of Detection and Response - Security Engineering Director

What you'll do:

Lead teams across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK to provide Threat Intelligence, Detection & Hunting, and Incident Response capabilities.

Set a clear mission and strategic direction for security detection and response.

Coach team leads to create impactful roadmaps and build engaged teams.

Build partnerships with stakeholders to align security initiatives with company objectives.

Communicate insights from threat intelligence and security incidents to inform risk management.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

You're probably a match if:

• Experience in Information Security with a track record of leading Security teams.
• Experience building and scaling security operations in a high-growth environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing distributed teams.
• Deep technical understanding of security tools and incident response procedures.
• Success in recruiting and developing diverse security talent.

Beneficial Experience:

• Experience with cloud-native security tools (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Background in specialized security domains (malware analysis, threat hunting).
• Experience implementing automation within security operations.
