Engineering Manager - Fonts & Images Processing

This role is based in Sydney, Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team developing Java backend services for fonts and images processing.
• Oversee the buildout of C++ backend services.
• Design and implement scalable systems for processing large volumes of content.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to meet new product needs.
• Set clear goals for the team balancing product needs and service health.
• Coach engineers and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong coaching and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in leading engineering teams and building scalable backend services.
• Proficient in C++/Java and cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with large-scale datastores like AWS DynamoDB.
