Design Elements Lead - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

About the role:

As the Acting Elements Lead, you will oversee creative direction, craft quality, and strategic vision across Canva’s Elements, driving AI-first creative systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead craft quality across all element types.
• Co-lead the Design Studio.
• Be the central point of contact for Brand & Partnerships for Elements.
• Champion product representation.
• Own AIGC elements & partner content quality.
• Improve workflows and efficiency.
• Guide craft leads in strategic planning.

Requirements:

• Experience as a creative leader (Art Director, Creative Director, or Content Lead).
• Broad creative literacy across various media.
• Production fluency and strategic thinking.
• People leadership skills.
• Trend awareness.
