Network Engineer II- Edge & Cloud Network

This role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reliability, security, and availability of Booking.com’s public cloud network infrastructure.
• Operate, maintain, and improve large-scale network infrastructure across multiple public cloud vendors.
• Automate network provisioning and monitoring using Python and Terraform.
• Collaborate with teams to design and troubleshoot networking solutions.
• Monitor network performance and address issues proactively.
• Coordinate incident management in multi-vendor environments.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of routing & switching (BGP) and TCP/IP stack.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Network resources.
• Experience in network security and management of firewalls in public cloud environments.
• 3+ years in network automation using Python and Terraform.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with multi-vendor network environments.
• Knowledge of Internet architectures and security.
• Skills in incident response and vendor management.
