Terminal Software Developer, Languages & Runtimes

This role is based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Compensation:

$116,800 - $226,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features or enhance existing features within the macOS Terminal application.
• Contribute to the development and direction of the macOS Terminal roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with partner teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Identify and reproduce issue reports, providing triage support.
• Write unit tests, benchmarks, and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with tools development or user-facing applications focusing on user experience.
• Excellent software engineering, testing, and debugging ability.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Swift expertise.
• Experience with macOS application development.
