Software Engineer (Data Governance)

This role is based in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, collaborate with teams to drive initiatives, design innovative data solutions, and develop executive reporting to mitigate risks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with data governance expertise.
• Proficiency in SQL, Spark/PySpark, Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations.
• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in ETL pipeline design and development.
• Experience with distributed databases and large-scale environments.
• Experience in deploying streaming data pipelines using Kafka and Spark.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like Tableau and Apache Superset.
