Software Engineer, Backend Systems

This role is based in Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated, high-performance applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features.
• Leading architectural discussions and ensuring robust solutions.
• Writing clean, well-tested code.
• Mentoring other engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Managing the full development lifecycle from concept to support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Technologies: Swift on Server, Go, Temporal or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving, architecture, debugging, and testing skills.
• Passion for quality and user experience.
• Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, networking, and security.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in server-side development and systems programming.
• Experience leading technical development across teams.
