Senior Security Software Engineer

This role is based in Seattle, Washington.

Compensation:

$171,600 - $302,200/year

Summary:

We are the Apple Service Engineering (ASE) Security team, responsible for securing systems and infrastructure for Apple’s services.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and build distributed systems that scale to support Apple's development ecosystem.
• Lead technical initiatives from design through delivery.
• Write high-quality, performant code to solve real-world security problems.
• Mentor and guide engineers through technical discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software or software security engineering.
• Experience architecting complex, distributed systems.
• Proficient in Java or Go.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI powered coding tools and LLM assisted development workflows.
