This role is based in Seattle, Washington.

Compensation:

$188,200 - $325,500

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers building security tooling and automation for Apple Services.
  • Define and drive the roadmap for embedding security into development pipelines.
  • Partner with security programs to build integrations across engineering.
  • Influence security adoption across teams through tooling design and partnerships.
  • Define metrics and connect engineering investments to business risk.
  • Hire and develop strong engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in security engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years leading technical teams.
  • Experience building or scaling security programs.
  • Ability to hire and retain strong engineering talent.
  • Strong communication skills for translating security risks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-velocity, product-focused engineering environments.
  • Background in software or platform engineering.
  • Experience with DevSecOps tooling and CI/CD pipeline integration.
