Lead Data Governance Engineer

This role is based in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, collaborate with teams to drive data governance initiatives, design and build data and analytics solutions, and develop executive reporting solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with data governance experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, Spark/PySpark, Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations.
• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing ETL pipelines and using workflow management tools like Airflow.
• Proficiency in SQL within MPP/distributed databases.
• Experience with large-scale streaming data pipelines using Kafka and Spark.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like Tableau and Apache Superset.
