This role is based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and review the system architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Perform code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
  • Address and resolve technical challenges during development.
  • Provide solutions for complex problems.
  • Ensure proper documentation of code, processes, and system designs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Create project plans, estimate effort, and define milestones.
  • Identify potential risks and work on mitigation strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in developing applications using Java.
  • Experience in Solution, Design, and Architecture of scalable applications.
  • Hands-on experience in backend development.
  • Experience with multi-threaded applications.
  • Experience in Spring Boot or equivalent framework.
  • Experience in writing and maintaining APIs.
  • Comfortable with API design patterns.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Proven record in building and optimizing for performance scalability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in computer science or information management.
  • Experience in cloud technologies like Azure, GCP, AWS.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in a large enterprise environment across multiple time zones.
  • Experience in messaging queues.
