Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware Introspection, Core OS

This role is based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Compensation:

$94,500 - $174,200/year

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement firmware observability systems across multiple coprocessor architectures.
• Collaborate with firmware, silicon, diagnostics, and developer tools teams.
• Identify high-value telemetry signals with product and engineering teams.
• Maintain rigorous coding, documentation, and testing practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in embedded systems software development.
• Proficient in C/C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with instrumentation frameworks and low-level systems.
• Experience in embedded firmware development and real-time operating systems.
