Core BringUp Engineer

This role is based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities:

Work with multi-functional teams to support product requirements for the iPhone/iPad/Apple Watch/AppleTV/Mac bring-up, verification, and debug of new hardware platforms. Develop firmware and drivers. Drive product features and functional/industry specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Highly proficient in C/C++
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A genuine passion for embedded development
• Knowledge of hardware platforms & processor architectures
• Excellent collaborative skills
• Experience with JTAG and other debuggers
• Previous experience writing embedded device drivers
• Previous experience with platform bring-up or porting of operating systems
• Outstanding written and verbal communication
