Apple’s Core Services Network Operations Network Engineer

This position is based in Cork, Ireland.

Responsibilities:

Provide front line support for Apple’s network, resolve incidents, maintain and upgrade networks, and contribute to documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with IPv4, IPv6, BGP, IS-IS, and layer 2 technologies.
• Understanding of large-scale LAN and WAN networking.
• Knowledge of MPLS technologies and experience with routers from Juniper, Nokia, Arista, or Cisco.
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Some proficiency with Linux preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience.
• Juniper JNCIA/JNCIP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent experience.
