Sr. Software Development Engineer, Alexa Connections

This role is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Compensation:

$150,700/year up to $251,700/year

Responsibilities:

• Influence product and technology strategy by defining product features and refining system architecture.
• Build agentic APIs for low latency, reliable cloud services.
• Drive software design, development standards, and code reviews.
• Optimize software libraries for performance.
• Deliver high-quality software in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one language.
• Experience leading design or architecture of systems.
• Mentoring or leading an engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
