Sr Security Engineer, Amazon Leo

This role is based in Arlington, VA or Redmond, WA.

Compensation:

$178,400 - $226,700/year

Responsibilities:

Oversee in-flight security issues, triage incoming security risks, and communicate with stakeholders at various levels. Participate in security promotion and mentoring of junior staff.

Requirements:

• 4+ years in troubleshooting systems and automating tasks
• 5+ years in identifying security issues and developing mitigation plans
• 4+ years in scripting, programming, and security code review
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with threat modeling and risk identification techniques
• Familiarity with security in service-oriented architectures/microservices
