Description
Build the service that checks the health of millions of endpoints around the world every few seconds, and the consoles customers rely on to run DNS and route traffic at global scale. As an SDE on the Amazon Route 53 Health Checks and Console Core team, you will own the distributed health checking infrastructure and the public API in front of it, build the AI tooling every Route 53 service team depends on, and launch new AI services for DNS and Route 53. You will help define what our customers use next.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of full stack development experience- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 4+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent- Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques- Knowledge of machine learning model architecture and inference
