Security Engineer, CS Security

This role is based in Austin, TX or Seattle, WA.

Compensation:

$159,300 - $202,400 annually

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain automated security guardrails.
• Engage with development teams to embed security from the start.
• Build continuous security assessment capabilities.
• Contribute code for security fixes alongside developers.
• Collaborate on long-term security strategy and support security incidents.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years programming experience in languages like Python, Java, or C++.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP and TCP/IP.
• 3+ years in application security frameworks, incident response, or cloud security.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years in threat modeling, secure coding, or identity management.
• Experience with AWS products and services.
• Strong communication skills for complex concepts.
