Security Engineer, AWS Security

Location: London, GBR

What you'll do:

As a Security Engineer, you will help build and manage services that detect and automate the mitigation of cybersecurity threats across Amazon’s infrastructure. You will collaborate with data scientists, software development engineers, and other security engineers to develop innovative security solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop services that protect AWS customers from security threats.
• Work with a team of security experts to improve security programs and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
• Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object-oriented language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS products and services.
• Experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security.
