Security Engineer, AmSec

This role is based in Arlington, VA.

Compensation:

$136,000 - $184,000 annually

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical deep-dive security assessments of third-party services.
• Identify and trace data flows through complex systems.
• Evaluate vendor penetration test reports.
• Threat model third-party use cases.
• Contribute to AI-powered security tooling.
• Communicate identified risks and recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with web protocols and common security attacks.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
