Responsibilities:
Build and operate core services that ingest, process, and distribute large-scale datasets. Define backend architecture and operational standards, collaborate with research and product teams, and own projects end to end.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience building and operating backend services
- Experience designing APIs
- Ability to drive ambiguous projects independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript and/or Python
- Experience with AWS services
- Experience in startup or research environments
