Staff Software Engineer – GenAI Systems

This position is US - Remote Eligible, with occasional work at an Airbnb office.

Compensation:

$204,000 — $255,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend systems and enhance AI prompt effectiveness.
• Drive technical vision for workflow and backend optimization.
• Lead the full development cycle including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Optimize system performance and scalability.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in backend systems and workflow optimization.
• Experience with AI/LLM-driven scenarios and prompt engineering.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
