Compensation:

$204,000 — $255,000/year

Responsibilities:

  • Build test frameworks to improve confidence in rolling out large runtime changes.
  • Partner with performance teams to enhance cost efficiency.
  • Modernize the monorepo with the latest versions of 3rd party languages and libraries.
  • Shape technical strategy impacting core metrics like Developer Experience and Reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders for adoption of new capabilities.
  • Ensure code quality and operational excellence as a player/coach.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in back-end server languages (Java/Ruby/Go/C++).
  • Experience with distributed systems and API design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Tech Stack:

JVM, distributed systems, cloud (AWS), service mesh, developer tooling.
