Compensation:
$204,000 — $255,000 USD
Responsibilities:
- Build test frameworks to enhance confidence in large runtime changes.
- Collaborate with performance teams to improve cost efficiency.
- Modernize the monorepo with the latest languages and libraries.
- Shape technical strategy impacting core metrics like Developer Experience and Reliability.
- Partner with engineering leaders for capability adoption across teams.
- Ensure code quality and operational excellence as a player/coach.
Requirements:
- 9+ years of industry experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proficiency in back-end server languages (Java/Ruby/Go/C++).
- Experience in high-scale distributed systems and well-designed APIs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Tech stack:
JVM, distributed systems, API design, cloud (AWS), service mesh.
