Senior Software Engineer, Profile & Community

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites.

Compensation:

$191,000 — $223,000 USD per year

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable platforms.
• Define and execute product features for user accounts and profiles.
• Architect and build efficient backend components.
• Mentor and support other engineers.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of industry experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in building high-quality, high-traffic products.
• Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design solutions.
• Mentorship experience with junior developers.
