Senior Software Engineer, Pricing & Availability

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.

Compensation:

$191,000 — $223,000 USD per year

Responsibilities:

• Design solutions, build, and launch for pricing and availability flows
• Provide critical input in team roadmap and technical direction
• Build efficient and backend solutions that are reliable, performant and scalable
• Nurture a culture of happy healthy teams including supportive feedback, technical quality, and having fun
• Collaborate with internal teams across various functions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience
• Expertise in backend systems within large-scale service-oriented architectures
• Strong programming skills in Scala, Python, Java, C++ or equivalent
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for efficiency, availability, system quality and user experience
