Senior Backend Engineer, Reservations and Additional Products

This position is remote eligible within the United States, with occasional work at an Airbnb office.

Compensation:

$191,000 — $223,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement complex features based on data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to execute technical requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in backend development with Java and/or Kotlin.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with large-scale service-oriented architectures.
