Backend Software Engineer, Storefronts

This position is US - Remote Eligible, with occasional work at an Airbnb office.

Compensation:

$157,000 — $180,600 per year

Responsibilities:

• Develop new APIs for user navigation and discovery of Airbnb products.
• Improve performance and robustness of backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new features from design to production.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in developing backend applications and APIs in Java.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and microservice architectures.

Tech stack:

Java, GraphQL, Kotlin, Thrift IDL.
