About the Role:
We are building AI-native discovery experiences across Mobility and Delivery. This role involves defining and leading the foundation model strategy for search, recommendations, and conversational AI.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end technical strategy for foundation models.
- Drive architecture decisions influencing multiple product surfaces.
- Lead cross-team initiatives spanning Retrieval, Ranking, Personalization, and LLM-powered assistants.
- Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical multiplier.
Basic Qualifications:
- Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- 8+ years of ML experience, including work on large-scale deep learning systems.
- Expertise in transformers, retrieval systems, and ranking architectures.
- Strong experience with PyTorch and distributed training.
