Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and applied scientists.
  2. Design and execute A/B experiments to optimize pricing and incentives.
  3. Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams.
  4. Generate actionable insights from large-scale data sets.
  5. Define and measure key success metrics.
  6. Advocate for best practices in data science.
  7. Propose frameworks for data analysis and experiments.
  8. Communicate findings to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ph.D/M.S degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience as a Scientist.
  • Experience with SQL or R in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in Python, pySpark with large data sets.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a marketplace or delivery platform.
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning or optimization algorithms.
