This role is based in Toronto, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD$144,000 - CAD$160,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Build high-performance, accessible, and responsive user interfaces using React and Fusion.js.
  • Partner with design and UX teams to translate wireframes into production-ready UI components.
  • Design and implement high-quality front-end experiences.
  • Help shape the technical standards and product direction for a new advertising surface at Uber.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 1-year full-time Software Engineering work experience.
  • Experience in programming languages such as TypeScript, Javascript, Java, Python, or Go.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of full-time Software Engineering work experience.
  • Experience with distributed systems and full-stack development.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, NextJS, and Fusion.
