Compensation:

USD$202,000 - USD$224,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  1. Build intent expression and results modules that improve discovery and decision-making.
  2. Set and enforce performance standards (page load, responsiveness, memory/network efficiency).
  3. Drive experimentation end-to-end with data science.
  4. Partner with backend/platform teams on contracts and navigation patterns.
  5. Mentor engineers and improve code quality.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
  • Experience in scalable front-end architectures.
  • Strong product intuition and user experience focus.
  • Effective cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-traffic, low-latency user-facing applications.
  • History of leading complex projects.
  • Understanding of browser performance and core web vitals.
  • Data-driven approach to improving user experience.
  • Experience in code reviews and mentorship.
