Senior Software Engineer

This role is based in San Francisco, California or Sunnyvale, California.

Compensation:

USD$202,000 - USD$224,000 per year

Responsibilities:

1. Lead technical strategy and execution for core search initiatives.
2. Design, code, and ship features using Go and modern web technologies.
3. Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and UXR to enhance user engagement.
4. Mentor engineers and promote high-quality code practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python.
• Strong product intuition and user-centric mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Search, Recommendations, or Ranking systems.
• Understanding of distributed systems and low-latency services.
