About the Role:

Maps experience and geospatial intelligence is the backbone of all Uber offerings. This role is responsible for designing human-centered ways for people to search for locations and discover relevant places across Uber’s business lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design search, discovery, and recommendation experiences.
  • Drive product roadmap and strategy decisions.
  • Translate complex geospatial data into clear experiences.
  • Design interactions for dense map environments.
  • Contribute to shared interaction patterns and design systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design.
  • Strong portfolio in search and map-based experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Foundation in interaction design and information architecture.
  • Experience with Figma and design systems.
  • Strong communication skills.

Compensation:

$180k-$200k/year
