This role is based in San Jose, CA.
Compensation:
$244800 - $450000 annually
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of scalable commerce platform integrations across multiple domains, build highly scalable distributed systems, drive architecture decisions, provide hands-on technical leadership, and collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems
- 2+ years as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead Manager
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, Python, or similar languages
- Experience with system design and high-availability distributed systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commerce ecosystems like Shopify or Salesforce
- Experience building merchant-facing infrastructure
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows
