Content & Product Governance Project Intern (TikTok Shop Japan) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

This internship is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in analyzing large datasets to support the development and optimization of product quality and compliance strategies.

- Support research on violations and risk trends related to content and product listings, and help draft governance strategies and workflows.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on key projects such as content governance, intellectual property protection, and compliance management.

- Monitor market policy changes and emerging risks to help adjust internal strategies and ensure alignment.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; preferred majors include engineering, data science, law, or social sciences.
• Strong logical thinking and data analysis skills; proficiency in Excel is required, experience with SQL is a plus.
• Interest in e-commerce, content governance, intellectual property, and compliance.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Availability of at least 3 working days per week for a minimum duration of 3 months is preferred.
• Proficiency in Japanese or English (reading and writing) is a plus depending on project needs.
