Backend Software Engineer Intern (Privacy and Security) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Location: Singapore

Responsibilities:

As a Backend Software Engineer Intern on the TikTok Privacy and Security team, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain systems that enhance privacy across TikTok.
• Work with engineering and product teams to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
• Respond to privacy incidents, including collecting information on scope and root cause.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include:

• Currently pursuing a Degree/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Go, Python, Java, or C++.
• Understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred qualifications include experience in scalable systems and client-facing project development.
