Compensation:
$104,000 - $192,000/year + cash and stock awards + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end sourcing and procurement process for camera modules and integrated components.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for high-performance camera modules.
- Drive strategic negotiations on piece pricing and product development with suppliers.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to define specifications for camera systems.
- Conduct market research on advancements in camera module technologies.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with Tesla’s vision for autonomous driving.
- Spearhead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and reliability.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management.
- 3+ years of experience with lens optical components.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Strong understanding of optical design principles and lens manufacturing processes.
- Proficient knowledge of technical requirements for camera lens systems.
