Compensation:

$104,000 - $192,000/year + cash and stock awards + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end sourcing and procurement process for camera modules and integrated components.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for high-performance camera modules.
  • Drive strategic negotiations on piece pricing and product development with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to define specifications for camera systems.
  • Conduct market research on advancements in camera module technologies.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with Tesla’s vision for autonomous driving.
  • Spearhead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management.
  • 3+ years of experience with lens optical components.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Strong understanding of optical design principles and lens manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient knowledge of technical requirements for camera lens systems.
