Internship, Systems Architecture & Integration Engineer, LV Architecture (Summer 2026)

This internship is based in Palo Alto, California and is expected to start in May 2026, continuing through the summer term.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $55.00/hour + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Distill system level requirements into quantifiable constraints for hardware and software teams.
  • Host cross-functional systems design discussions.
  • Translate discussions into design documents.
  • Define system hardware and software interfaces.
  • Develop early system prototypes.
  • Execute initial system testing at the vehicle level.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong fundamentals in electrical and embedded systems.
  • Hands-on experience debugging complex subsystems.
  • Ability to read and interpret C/C++ or similar languages.
  • Experience in MATLAB, Python, or equivalent tools.
