This internship is based in Palo Alto, California and is expected to start around January 2026, continuing through the Winter/Spring term (ending approximately May 2026) or into Summer 2026 if available.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $55.00/hour + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Drive design and execution of sensing subsystems, including schematic design and PCB layout.
  • Support cross-functional discussions with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams.
  • Use EDA tools for defining electrical components and supervise board design file generation.
  • Ensure hardware meets design criteria across various environments.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software (CATIA preferred).
  • Good electrical foundation and programming skills in MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
  • Ability to prototype using fabrication and basic electronics.
