Android Engineer, Robotaxi App, Vehicle Software

This role is based in Palo Alto, California.

Compensation:

$111,200 - $433,680/year + cash and stock awards + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, debug, and own features for the Robotaxi and Tesla mobile apps, primarily on Android.
• Collaborate with design, firmware, vehicle UI, and backend teams for seamless user interactions.
• Manage the full development lifecycle of mobile features.
• Enhance mobile architecture for future scalability.
• Improve app performance and usability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Android Development experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin, Java, and React Native.
• Familiarity with Typescript or JavaScript preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of design patterns.
