This role is remote in the United States.
Compensation:
$224,000 - $336,000 per year
What you'll do:
Own technical strategy, lead platform development, drive cross-functional alignment, raise engineering standards, and ensure system reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Define architecture for Identity's core systems.
- Architect new systems including the Identity Store and fraud detection pipeline.
- Partner with various teams to ensure alignment across Stripe's products.
- Set engineering standards and mentor senior engineers.
- Accountable for system reliability and security.
Who you are:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience with API design and developer products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
- Proficient in Ruby, TypeScript, Python, and other relevant technologies.
