Compensation:

$271,200 - $406,800 per year

What you'll do:

  • Define technical strategy for merchant-facing experiences with a focus on quality and performance.
  • Lead complex, cross-team projects to improve reliability and responsiveness of Stripe merchant surfaces.
  • Champion a quality-first engineering culture and establish standards for high-quality UI.
  • Innovate on AI-powered merchant UX and build frameworks to enhance developer productivity.

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in the industry.
  • Experience with large-scale web applications and leading cross-functional engineering projects.
  • Deep expertise in modern frontend and full-stack development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with React and AI integration in user-facing products.
  • Familiarity with performance engineering and deploying large web applications.
