Engineering Manager, Merchant Health Experience

This role is based in Seattle, with expectations for in-office attendance at least 50% of the time.

Compensation:

$236,000 - $354,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, coach, and develop a team of exceptional engineers.
• Lead the development of Stripe's health alerts.
• Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across architecture, design, and incident management.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience with large scale distributed systems.
• Strong mentoring and team-building skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with data-intensive services and observability solutions.
